  3. Share a 1- 5 min video of your work based on the following questions, along with any additional information you wish to share.
  • What is the craft and the nature of the work done?
  • What is the impact of the work done?
  • How have you used digital technology in your work and what is the impact of it?
  • How many individuals and organisations have you mentored and empowered?
  • In case you win the award, what will you do with the cash prize ?
  • What kind of training and support do you look forward to going ahead?
  • Any other details you would like to highlight

Who can apply

      • The application is open to traditional artisans across art, handloom, handicraft and  GI location techniques . While the application is open to organisations too, the purpose is to support those who need it, and that will be a consideration for the jury. The following can apply –

1. Individual/ family enterprises

2. SHG, Cluster

3. Social enterprises – including producer companies, coops, trusts, societies, section 8 and private companies with a social objective.

      • The artisan/ organisation must have used digital means, digital tools of various kinds to make their operation efficient, reach market effectively, make products better, and would have earned effective and accountable impact. The range of digital tools the applicant would have used can range from social media, e-com, e-marketing, SEO, web, CRM, emails, messaging tools, digital literacy/skilling/outreach etc.

      • Cash prizes are available only to winning artisans, to help them take their business forward. Winning organisations will get a trophy.

      • 15 women artisans will be selected to be mentored by WEP through a bespoke program designed for their needs.
